PhD (c) in AI and Neuroimaging. CEA / Inria / Université Paris-Saclay

About me

Currently, I am pursuing doctoral studies in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroimaging at CEA / Inria / Université Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of PhD Philippe Ciuciu in the Inria MIND team. My doctoral work focuses on improving high-resolution brain MRI using real-time motion correction via deep learning and reinforcement learning techniques. Previously, I obtained a MSc in Digital Sciences with focus in AI at Université Paris Cité (France), ranked between the two first places in my graduating class. I obtained my BSc degree in Electronic Engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI), Peru, ranked first place in my graduating class. My research experience in Deep Learning, Computer Vision and NLP includes my internships at AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland), University of Padova (Italy), Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (France), DiliTrust (France), and Nokia Bell Labs (France). I have presented several of my research projects in workshops at major AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and CVPR. Furthermore, I have contributed as a paper reviewer at NeurIPS, ICLR and ICML conferences on multiple occasions. Additionally, I've expanded my expertise by participating in renowned AI and ML summer schools. Beyond my academic pursuits, my interests cover a diverse spectrum, including cybersecurity, mathematics, physics, and philosophy.
